The new Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Studios Hollywood is pure magic. Alan Gilmore, a film art director, helped re-create Potter’s world from the popular books and movies. In an interview, Gilmore reveals what it was like to bring J.K. Rowling’s fantasy series to life, allowing visitors to wander the streets of Hogsmeade, look up at the towering castle of Hogwarts, and ride the Flight of the Hippogriff. Need a magic wand? He’ll tell you where to get fitted.
