A belted kingfisher brings its mate a fish in the new "bird room" at the Beaverhead County Museum in Dillon, Mont. The work of Dennis Jones, a mail carrier with a wildlife biology degree, the exhibit includes 150 bird pairs, from snow geese to pied-billed grebes. Jones spent 10 years on the mounts and received a special achievement award in 2006 from Montana Audubon. (406) 683-5027.
