Frogs Need Friends, Too

An Oregon spotted frog from the exhibit Frogs Forever? at Vancouver Aquarium in British Columbia

Spy an Oregon spotted frog in the soggy grass and leaves at British Columbia's Vancouver Aquarium and give yourself a merit badge in wildlife. Not only do these denizens of the Northwest keep a low profile in their marshy terrarium, they're also disappearing from the wild at a worrying pace, with up to half the other 5,100 frog species. At the exhibit Frogs Forever? learn how biologists are hopping to the rescue. (604) 659-3521, vanaqua.org.
