1929 Hart-Parr tractor

You don't have to be a farmer or a vintage vehicle buff to fall in love with the Heidrick Ag History Center, just off Interstate 5 in Woodland, Calif. It's the nation's largest collection of antique tractors and trucks. There's a kerosene-fueled 1929 Hart-Parr, a 1922 Waterloo Boy, and a 1926 "snow-motor" that hauled mail to Lake Tahoe. Or stop by the Family Farm Festival on May 21 and 22 for barley threshing, draft horse demonstrations, kids' activities, and food. Information: (530) 666-9700, www.aghistory.org.
