Yo-Yo Ma makes the short list for great cellists of the past century, if not tops it. For one night only, he visits the East Bay accompanied by British pianist Kathryn Scott. Pieces by Manuel de Falla and Olovier Messiaen are bookended by Stravinsky’s Suite Italienne and Brahms’s Sonata no. 3 in D Minor, op. 108.
