In conjunction with the exhibit "Crossing Cultures: Ethnicity in Contemporary America," writer Richard Rodriguez speaks on his career-long investigation into race, religion, sex, and the "browning"–or cultural mixing–of the United States in the 21st century. Born in 1944 to working-class immigrant parents, Rodriguez grew up in Northern California before attending Stanford University and later the Warburg Institute in London.
