From its modest first season in 1962, the festival has grown into an extravaganza spanning two seasons, with nine full productions, outdoor and indoor theaters, a slew of special events, and thousands of visitors. This year's productions include the Bard's Macbeth, The Merchant of Venice, and Much Ado About Nothing, plus more modern works like The 39 Steps and Great Expectations: A New Musical.
