Al fresco performances of two plays by the Bard—Macbeth (August 18–September 12) and Much Ado About Nothing (September 22–October 17)—as well as Shaw's Mrs. Warren's Profession (July 7–August 1) and the world premiere of John Steinbeck's The Pastures of Heaven (June 3–27). No seat is farther than 75 feet from the stage, and those seated in the terrace may rent low chairs or bring their own. The park-like setting is open for picnicking two hours before each performance.
