Once just a springtime gathering for local Alaskans in the late 1930s, this ice art competition and exhibition has grown into the world’s largest event of its kind, boasting 70 teams from around the globe. Expect to see magnificent animals, colorfully-lit scenes, and towering ice on display for a full month.
