Ever wondered what daily life looked like for Ludwig van Beethoven? At San Jose State University, an exciting exhibit is as close as you can get. Drawn from the Ira F. Brilliant Center’s sprawling Beethoven Collection, the display includes a hodgepodge of everyday items used by Beethoven between 1792 and 1827, including a Viennese cookbook dating back to 1803, an assortment of original music manuscripts, and even a lock of the maestro’s hair.
