A historic gem is now a AAA Four Diamond property where you can spend the night.
By the architectural standards of the late 1800s, Washington School in Park City, Utah, was an impressive edifice. The local newspaper editor wrote that the new school was “one of the finest in the territory” and remarked on its “elegant furniture.” An extensive renovation in 2011 transformed the limestone building into a AAA four Diamond property, now known as the Washington School House Hotel. It’s one of just 46 hotels featured in a recent roundup of AAA inspectors’ favorite historic gems.
