- Buckle up your child on every trip, every time.
- Use a properly secured child restraint appropriate for your child’s age, height, and weight.
- Make sure your child is secure in a booster seat until he or she reaches 4'9", typically between ages 8 and 12.
- Keep children under age 13 in the backseat; it’s the safest place for them.
