Before the Swiss Army knife, before the Leatherman, there was the corkscrew. This one, with a parrot-faced pull carved from deer antler 100 years ago, is among more than 1,500 rare wine bottle openers set out for inspection at the Culinary Institute of America at Greystone in St. Helena, Calif.
