Kids need not experience the realities of 19th century pioneer life through a computer game. This highly engaging exhibit teaches visitors how to pack a wagon under 1,500 pounds and do the math on how many steps it takes to complete the Oregon Trail. Four miles of hiking trails through this 500-acre site will give you a sense of the historic trek.
