Landlubbers make way when the Portland Pirate Festival invades an old logging town along the Columbia River. Sea dogs stroll toting parrots, buccaneers ambush sailors with cannons and swords, kids cavort in the inflatable boats and haunts of Scupper Monkey Island, and even scalawags delight in the giant puppets, jugglers, balladeers, live sword fights, music, grub, and grog. Warning: Watch out for the King's Navy hunting pirates.
