Port-Neuf Mountain Man Rendezvous
Exit 44 off I-15
near McCammon, ID
In the era of the mountain man–roughly 1825 to 1840–trappers and traders would come together once a year to exchange their goods and socialize. Held near original gathering sites in southeastern Idaho, a weekend of living history programs shows youngsters and adults what it was like to camp on the frontier. Retire at a bonfire after cannonball demonstrations, primitive archery shoots, and a traders' market.
