Held in the heart of the city’s Little Italy district, the festival regularly draws upwards of 100,000 attendees with a celebration that includes Italian cuisine, arte di gesso (sidewalk chalk art), 125 arts and crafts vendors, live music, kids' activities, and an animal blessing at the National Shrine of Saint Francis of Assisi.
