In the mountain towns of Northern Italy, local townspeople would celebrate maiale (pork) with a full day of food preparations followed by a full night of revelry. Oregonians can now get a taste of the fun at a 240-acre winery known for biodynamic wines. Attendants are invited to participate alongside Portland chefs in the process of transforming a 500-pound pig into a resplendent six-course meal.
