Animator and imagineer Marc Davis was known for his expertise in developing and animating female characters in Disney classics such as Peter Pan's Tinker Bell, 101 Dalmations' Cruella de Vil, and Sleeping Beauty's Aurora and Maleficent. Davis' mastery of the human form and authority on anatomy and movement brought these iconic characters to life and made them believable. His legacy is now on view at the Walt Disney Family Museum in San Francisco. Leading Ladies and Femmes Fatales: The Art of Marc Davis features some 70 original pencil animation drawings, conceptual artwork, paintings, cels, and photographs that highlight his work on Disney female characters. Bring the entire family to see Davis' greatest work and accomplishments--you will immediately understand why he was dubbed a Disney Legend in 1989.
