To celebrate its 14th anniversary, a non-profit arts education center hosts a fiery runway show that brings the world of fashion and industrial art together. Teams of designers—Miss Velvet Cream, Kristin Neidlinger, and Anthony Asterisk, among others—create clothes, designs, and accessories inspired by French haute couture. Can't make it to this event? Be on the lookout for their collaborations in a moving exhibit that will debut in West Oakland in January.
