At this annual event held in a big, windy field, the sky fills with clever and imaginative kites made by participants. Also on tap are pie-eating and bubble gum-blowing contests, and information tables sponsored by fish and wildlife agencies and others. The park has no drinking water, so you'll need to bring your own.
