The Middle East is making its way west, all the way to Salt Lake City, where the Leonardo hosts a rich exhibit with more than 600 artifacts dating back to the 3rd century B.C. The Dead Sea Scrolls: Life and Faith in Ancient Times displays treasures such as millennia-old ossuaries, pottery, and a three-ton stone from Jerusalem's Western Wall. But the main draw is the scrolls–such as the War Scroll–found in caves near the Dead Sea, some of the oldest known religious manuscripts and among the most significant archeological finds of the last century.
