The great Theodor Seuss Geisel, more commonly known as the beloved Dr. Seuss, will forever be known for his classic children's books and iconic illustrations. The Art of Dr. Seuss at Portland's World Forestry Center celebrates the life and career of the late author and illustrator, showcasing an array of rare, never-before-seen works produced throughout his 70 years of creativity. Visitors can see Seuss' quintessential illustration art from The Cat in the Hat, Green Eggs and Ham, Yertle the Turtle, and The Lorax, as well as early magazine covers, advertising pieces, war commentary, whimsical unorthodox taxidermy, and an assortment of larger-than-life bronze sculptures. Bring the entire family and experience his world of clever rhymes and fantastical characters.
