The land of giants in the southern Sierra Nevada is home to the 2.7 million–pound General Sherman tree, the largest living thing on earth. Congress Trail is an easy two-mile loop through the heart of the 1,900-acre Giant Forest that takes you to other celebrity sequoias, including the General Lee and McKinley trees.
