With an enduring weakness for the people and places of the Rockies, freelance writer Lucy Burningham now finds herself equally attached to the Pacific Northwest and her home base, Portland, Oregon. Her work has appeared in Sunset, Men's Journal, Hemispheres, Imbibe, and Portland Monthly magazine. In the November 2006 issue of VIA, Burningham introduces a new player in the Portland arts scene, the restored Armory building.
