After writing for a small newspaper in northern New Mexico, Kate Hove attended the University of Alaska Fairbanks, where she obtained her MFA in Creative Writing. She has written for Distinctly Montana magazine, American Cowboy, and, despite having lived in a one-room cabin with no running water for three years, a Better Homes and Garden special interest publication. She now works as an English instructor at Lewis-Clark State College in Lewiston, Idaho.
