Behind every VIA article there's an intrepid reporter risking sunburn on an exotic Tahitian cruise, indigestion on San Francisco's best food tours, and over-exfoliation in the West Coast's most relaxing spas. These are the men and women who lived to tell the tale.
Dina's writing career began shortly after her arrival in Wyoming in 1997 when the Jackson Hole News hired her to write a biweekly column about 20-something life in the valley. Since then, she has written for Outside, National Geographic Traveler, National Geographic Adventure, Big Sky Journal, Western Art & Architecture, Sunset, Cooking Light, and Mobil Travel Guides. Her assignments have taken her from spas in Africa to granite cliffs in Tasmania. In July 2007, Globe Pequot published her first book, Wyoming Curiosities. She also is the author of the iPhone app Total Tetons. Check her out online at www.dinamishev.com.
