Top Maui Eats: 13 More Great Bites

Road Journals Blog—I'll be honest. When VIA asked me to head to Maui and investigate the food scene, I didn't expect to find much of real interest. Happily, my pre-trip impression of the island's culinary offerings turned out to be totally out of date. Gone are the days when mediocre tourist chow was the norm. Maui now bursts with terrific eats, from farmers markets to white tablecloth temples of Hawaii Regional Cuisine.

VIA's September/October 2012 story lists seven of the top food experiences I found on Maui. Here, in no particular order, are thirteen more that have me dreaming of a return to the Valley Isle.
