Decades ago, these women's beaded moccasins would have been worn for ceremonial events. Today, they're among the artifacts on display in Head to Toe: Language of Plateau Indian Clothing, November 8 through January 4 at the Tamástslikt Cultural Institute east of Pendleton, Ore.
