Michael Yessis

A San Francisco-based freelancer and presidential hopeful, Michael Yessis has had some pretty hard-core assignments over the years, from attending surfing school in Hawaii for Men's Fitness to running in a 195-mile team relay race in Oregon for Outdoor Explorer. But nothing prepared him for his ultimate on-assignment challenge: riding the mechanical bull in Pocatello, Idaho on a full stomach. Bucked but not beaten, Michael was last seen scouring the desert canyons of Utah's Dinosaurland.
